Emmanuel Choir
We are currently a small four part adult choir with a good repertoire focusing mainly on traditional Anglican music and liturgy. We are a friendly bunch and would love to welcome new members.
We have a weekly choir practice on Thursday evenings, with the odd additional practice for special services.
The Music
We sing at the morning service each week (Eucharist on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays and Mattins on the 2nd and 5th) and at Evensong on the 1st Sunday of each month.
In addition to the normal Sunday services we have had some or all of:
Advent Carol Service
Christmas Services including Nine Lessons and Carols
Eucharist on Ash Wednesday
Service of Passion Music (usually on Palm Sunday)
Good Friday service
The occasional Choral Evensong or other format special evening service.
