Emmanuel Choir

We are a small, four-part adult choir with a strong repertoire, focusing mainly on traditional Anglican music and liturgy. We are a friendly group and would love to welcome new members.

We hold weekly choir practice on Thursday evenings, with occasional extra rehearsals for special services.

The Music

We sing at the morning service each week:

• Eucharist on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Sundays
• Mattins on the 2nd and 5th Sundays
• Evensong on the 1st Sunday of each month

In addition to our regular Sunday services, we also sing at special services throughout the year, including:

• Advent Carol Service
• Christmas Services, including Nine Lessons and Carols
• Eucharist on Ash Wednesday
• Service of Passion Music (usually on Palm Sunday)
• Good Friday Service

We also occasionally hold Choral Evensong and other special evening services.
